YOUTH REGISTRATION
Ages 10 - 17

WATCH A DEMO! ATTEND A YOUTH TURNING SESSION! VISIT THE TRADE SHOW!  WANDER THE INSTANT GALLERY! And, so much more!

The Youth Turning Program was launched by AAW in 2005 to introduce young people to the art and craft of woodturning through a hands-on, classroom-style experience. Anyone between ages 10 - 17 is welcome to register as a youth participant. No prior woodturning experience is required; however, each youth participant must be accompanied by an adult who is registered for the Symposium.

To complete the registration process, please submit this form and waiver for each youth participant. Please note: All adults who register a youth participant are asked to volunteer in the Youth Area. For each youth you accompany to the Symposium, please plan to sign up for one volunteer shift. Volunteer shift sign-ups will open on March 1.

As a Youth Area volunteer, you will play an important role in supporting the instructor during each rotation by observing, coaching, and offering guidance to help ensure a safe, high-quality, and engaging learning experience. Your time and involvement are essential to creating a positive, inspiring environment for the next generation of woodturners
—and we’re grateful to have you as part of it.
